We all have a voice, we all need to 'perform' in some sense or another.  But many of us struggle to reach our full potential and communicate effectively.

I am a professional actor, a drama and performance coach and a teacher of the Alexander Technique.  My aim is to help you find your voice in its widest sense - to improve your confidence and feel comfortable with the way you speak, perform, move and connect with others. 

I work with groups and individuals - adults and children, business people, media professionals and amateurs.  I offer private drama and voice coaching in Fleet, Hampshire and my clients come from all over Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and beyond.  My emphasis is on one-to-one personal coaching and development - focusing on individual needs, developing presentation skills and building confidence.

CREATING THE RIGHT CONDITIONS FOR THE VOICE

The Alexander Technique is at the heart of how I teach.  The Technique teaches the skilful "use of the self": how we move, how we breathe, how we learn, how we organise our awareness and focus of attention and, above all, how we choose our reactions in increasingly demanding situations.  The Technique essentially therefore provides the support and 'creates the conditions' for the voice to operate properly.  It's no wonder that all the major drama schools include it as an essential part of their curriculum nowadays.

When you come to see me therefore, the first part of your hour long session will focus on the Alexander Technique and the second part specifically on your goals for voice work.  You will find more about this at About Lessons.
